This week was short but still sweet!
We met with our grade 1/2 buddies
for the last time this week! We went outside and painted water colours inspired
by nature!
We had our very last day of school for the 2017/18 school year on
Wednesday. It was a half day and we had our last assembly together. We watched
a slide show of some highlights from the year and it was awesome!
We watched Stuart Little the movie this week on Monday and got to munch on yummy popcorn popped by some of the parents in parent council, we want to say the BIGGEST thank you to them because it was so delicious! We noticed that the movie and the book are VERY different!! Ask me about some of the differences.
Report Cards were handed out on
Wednesday.
We watched the teacher vs students soccer
game on Tuesday afternoon! It was 5-1 for the teachers! Go teachers!
Ms. Gunderson was amazing in goal!
We finished up our
science research on the computers this week.
We wrote letters
to our teachers on Monday morning and they wrote letters back to us and we got
them on the last day of school.
We did a big huge clean up of the
classroom! We got to take all of our books home and clean up the classroom to
get it ready for next year!
Our last prize draw of the year was pretty
cool! We did the draw until all the prizes were gone!
Some friends in
the class brought Miss Kolb and Miss Klem some lovely end of year gifts! Thank
you so much!!
School will start again on Sept. 4th! We
can hardly wait to see you all again!! For our grade 4's, good luck in grade 5
next year, we hope you will come visit us!!
This is our last
blog post for the year! Have a great summer! We'll miss you!
That's it, that's all for this
school year!
Love,
Room 7 & 8
